All my life, I have wanted to help people. Growing up, I was always told I am good listener, which is sort of ironic because I have hearing loss. Listening and supporting those around me is still something I am passionate about. I am a classic overachiever; made the good grades, hung with the nerds and theater kids. I made it all the way through a doctorate level program for Audiology and still felt like there was something missing and more impact I could make in the world.
I became an audiologist over 20 years ago and feel so fortunate that I’ve been able to help people reengage with the world and people around them. For most of my 20 professional years, I have had a love affair with working with tinnitus patients. I decided to become a coach to learn more about how I could help them more completely.
What happened next surprised me.
Learning the art of coaching through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), I have learned to be a better employee, mentor, leader, friend, mother, wife and of course, audiologist. This rigorous and comprehensive program has made me a highly trained coach. My natural desire to listen with empathy and compassion as well as my willingness to ask clarity seeking questions helps me succeed in coaching others.

Coaching has helped me learn to live with intention, seek self-awareness, embrace self-acceptance and self-compassion. It has helped me lean into the things I am scared to do because they are out of my comfort zone. That growth has yielded amazing opportunities in leadership professionally, helped me become more self-assured and less self-critical.
In my off time, I am also an avid reader, lover of travel, a frustrated gardener, fierce fantasy football competitor, a baker and cook. I am a wife to my very best friend and mother to an incredible girl.
